I have chosen this job as I think there is something new to learn every day.

What do you most enjoy about your job?
I most enjoy being able to work with an awesome team every day. I also enjoy being able to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations and keep them happy.

What’s worth spending more money on in relation to air-conditioning and electrical items?
I think that spending extra money on quality materials with long and durable warranties is worth it.

How do you relax after a hard day at work?
At the end of each day I enjoy taking my kids for a walk to the park and taking them to the Gooseponds to feed the ducks.

Favourite place in Mackay and surrounding areas to visit?
My favourite place to visit is Airlie Beach as I enjoy going there and staying at the Big 4 for holidays with my family. I also enjoy going to Montes at Hydeaway Bay.

Funniest compliment to receive while at a job?
The funniest compliment I receive often is that clients think my first-year apprentice Theo is my son, although there isn’t much of an age gap! It’s not necessarily a compliment, but it was funny when one of my repeat customers has also told me that “I’m getting thin on top”.
